Kelly Blackwell took a chance on Downtown Spartanburg in 2008, and she’s glad she did.
Her boutique, Two Doors Down, has thrived in its location two doors down from Groucho’s Deli on Main Street.
To her range of contemporary clothing, including Silver and LTB jeans, Kelly has added Brighton’s Jewelry, Nick & Mo casual clothes, Rubber Ducky casual and cocktail wear, and Mac & Jac, a great new contemporary line.
Kelly supports local artists by offering their paintings (Claire Louka, Julie Roberts) and photographs (Patrick Hill) for sale. Local jewelry lines include Elle Ink by Amber Fowler and Southern Charm by Brandy May. Spartanburg brewery RJ Rockers’ merchandise is available for purchase.
“I didn’t realize that I’d have people asking me to use my clothes in their photos shoots, and to help out in charity work and fashion shows,” says Kelly, who also enjoys the networking and friendships she has developed with downtown merchants. “There’s more traffic in downtown Spartanburg, and many people moving here from out of town.”
Kelly’s goals are to open another retail location in the Upstate, and to develop a website.

A Wonderful Surprise
While visiting my in laws for Easter we ran across Kelly's lovely store. She was getting ready to close but I still managed to place 5 dresses on hold. My mother in law and I came back the next day and I tried them all on. I ended up with several new adorable dresses and have received numerous compliments on them. Kudos to Kelly for such a wonderful store. Making a trip into Two Doors Down will now be a staple part of our trips to Spartanburg. Thank you Kelly!
A Daughter's Delight!
I love shopping for my daughter who lives out of state at Two Doors Down! Kelly knows what she likes and helps me pick out the perfect outfits for her. She always has the most up to date styles and also classics in affordable prices! Great selections and cute boutique tops-dresses-jeans-and jewelry! You can get it all there including a great friend in Kelly!
Great experience
When you walk into Kelly's store, you are welcomed from the start. Kelly treats everyone like a friend and she is eager to help you find what you need, without being overbearing. The atmosphere is trendy yet relaxing and there are so many good products to choose from. I must admit I like to peruse the items on sale and there is always a good selection. Keep it up Kelly!
This shopper's favorite place
I can always count on great selection in Two Doors Down no matter what I am looking for. She's got the best jeans in town, and the cutest tops. I love her jewelry choices too. I leave this shop with a smile on my face knowing I just purchased a cute little something that's not walking around town and I didn't spend my entire budget. The owner of the store is extremely helpful, and is one of the nicest shop owners I've encountered. If you haven't stopped in you should. It will swiftly be were you go when you need a little pick me up retail therapy.
One of a Kind Finds
I love boutiques for their one of a kind offerings and fashion. This shop is outstanding in the range of clothes that they have and the reasonably priced items--accessories and handbags too. When I am in Spartanburg (I'm a Yankee) I make a point to go to Two Doors, to find out what is new at this shop. Kudos to the owner--let's get shopping out of the malls and onto the streets!

Thank goodness for Kelly and for choosing Downtown Spartanburg for her new location! Her shop is delightful and just being around Kelly is a pleasure - not to mention the wonderful selection of clothes she has to offer.

My favorite boutique
This store is totally cute and very well-priced for a boutique! Kelly knows everything about what is currently in style right now and will give you the latest style tips. If there is something in the store that you love, but your size is sold-out, she can order your size and it usually comes to the store within a week or so. I have had nothing less than an amazing shopping experience every time I have come to this store. Keep up the good work!
